Each of chaussette b.'s paintograph is the combination of dozens of photographs she capture herself in many different places, then brazenly twist, manipulate and combine to get the canvas she had in mind. From photographs blends and by overlaying her photographs, she came with a painting- looks-like final workart.
For Moles II, photos were taken in Hong Kong abandoned village houses, Galerie Chardon (entomological boutique in Paris), Chaussette B. Studio in Hong Kong, Christophe’s Dénoux atelier in Hong Kong and in the neighborhood of Ipoh old town in Malaysia.
Moles II has been showed for the first time in Hong Kong in May 2019, in Taiwan at Art Taipei in October 2019, and some pieces are currently exhibited at Lumeun, in Hong Kong until end of january 2020
Moles II is the continuation of her anatomic serie Moles, which was a full-fledged cartography of all chaussette b. moles on all parts of her body.
Moles II is the checking part of this medical process, which consists in comparing each mole photograph at three months interval.
